An Introduction of Sorts...

Hello, and welcome to my first attempt at blogging. The following page will be dedicated to one of my oldest hobbies; sports cards. Now, I will start by saying that I am an old school collector of sorts. I began in 1993 and continue to focus a majority of my collection to beat up vintage stuff through the mid-late 90's. Honestly, I don't have the financial resources to bust cases of Triple Threads and get way more of a thrill from busting say a box of 1993 Fleer than 3 packs of modern Topps base. While I won't totally exclude modern stuff (my local shop has a killer nickel/dime box that keeps some newer stuff in my collection), I intend to focus on my real loves which is "junk wax" and ungraded vintage stuff. I love busting cheap wax, I love building sets, and I love making trades. I collect a variety of players such as Griffey Jr,  Sandberg, Brett,Ripken, Ryan, Joe Carter ect and am a diehard Cubs fan. I also happen to have a major soft spot for gaudy 90's inserts, shiny stuff, and cheap unlicensed stuff . Over time I hope to grow this blog, post cheap wax box breaks, and make some trading partners. I would love to relive the feeling of making trades like I made as a kid and meet new collectors. I should have want lists posted soon but don't hesitate to email. I hope you guys enjoy my salute to the cheaper side of the hobby!
